Bad. Person I spoke to just didn't know what he was talking about, gerrymandered, and told me incorrect information. After I brought this up, they decided to close the engagement rather than try to fix things. They were quite aggressive with the disengagement. Wasted a pretty substantial amount of time. Left with a bad taste in my mouth.

My experience has been fantastic! The accountant I work with at Rivet has been been incredibly helpful with explaining or working with me on the more complicated aspects of my taxes. My responses from Rivet are extremely timely and detailed, their website is super easy to use, and I really like how I can see everything I have submitted to them and follow the progress of my return. I would highly recommend Rivet!

I have had a spectacular experience with Rivet so far. In particular, the customer service is unbelievable - fast, efficient, knowledgeable. Given the high stakes of some of my tax decisions, I have wanted to get everything exactly right. I trust the team at Rivet entirely given how much expertise they have displayed, especially when it comes to the minute details. They've allayed all my fears, and I feel like everything will be taken care of efficiently, with minimal involvement from me, which is of course the best possible experience with taxes :)

Our experience with Rivet has been excellent. I've worked with multiple other accounting firms before and Rivet feels very different. Everyone is incredibly responsive and quickly helpful for any issues or questions that come up. Work is very accurate as well, I'm not used to having everything done correctly the first time!

In one word, Wonderful. Responsive, knowledgeable, patient, and beyond competent (base competency seems to be in short supply amongst tax professionals particularly when there is anything other than vanilla basics). Jet presents some unique issues as it was a decentralized finance (DeFi) software developer behind a protocol with some complexity around legal entities, a founder dispute, and issues common in cryptocurrency startups in DeFi, but not elsewhere. Rivet came in knowledgeable on crypto, and where needed, they let us educate them. It was impressive to see their degree of competence in knowing what they knew, what they didn't, learning quickly, and guiding us through our work in our final stages. It was crystal clear they knew what they were doing and so well that our unique issues could rapidly be assessed and chartered through the maze of IRS regs and forms. I have referred them to other friends and startups, and will continue to do so. I wish we had used Rivet from day one.

Nick, Kyle, and team both deeply understand startups and tax which is a rare combo in this space. Because they understand both domains, they can give highly contextualized advice that you wouldn't get from a typical tax firm or CPA. Responsiveness is next level. They over-communicate. Make sure we don't miss deadlines. Are super responsive via text / Slack if we need anything. They get the job done. And they'll be pro-active about stuff you're not thinking about but should.

Taxes? Fun? Yep. There. I said it. In the past, I hated doing my taxes - my prep guy was elusive, expensive, and in a rush. Switch to Rivet: Nick answered all my questions about the family Trust with ease and confidence. He then handed my files to Luis, who handled all the K-1's, taxes, prep, and delivery. Rivet goes the extra mile. We onboarded with them to handle a complex tax situation after our previous preparer fumbled the easy stuff. Rivet onboarded within days, untied a gordian knot that seemingly would have cost others thousands to do, and did it all with a smile. Nick and Kyle go above and beyond, even handling tax for my family as a courtesy while dealing with our main tax matter.
