They help our backoffice stay lean (i.e. the CEO and one engineer) and that is very important right now. We actually hired an in-house FP&A person only to lose them to another company 60 days in. Enduring Planet quickly stepped (already were doing our book keeping) and helped us stay efficient.

Our work with Enduring Planet is ongoing. They started by building a cash flow model so we could project cash flow and projections more accurately. The model ties our project costs to incoming funds from our fundraising. We already had an accounting partner, and Enduring Planet worked well with both our team and that partner. Their focus is FP&A, and they continue to manage and update the model for us. We are now working with them on a more robust pro forma ahead of our Series A raise. They are responsive, collaborative, and they understand how sustainability project companies are financed.

Due to an unexpected departure in our operations team, our books were in a state of disarray and Enduring Planet took it in stride, and restored our desired cadence of closing, updated our finance forecasts and have taken on many administrative tasks associated with our accounting department. We are very happy overall with our choice, we are still working on smoothing out our reporting, collaboration and AR processes, but I am confident that will fall into place over time.

They kicked off our work an hour before midnight on New Years Eve (their time) and have been incredibly responsive and available ever since. Exactly six weeks later, as promised, they delivered a fully-baked proforma and liquidity tracker that went well beyond helping us track runway. They built a stellar executive dashboard and BvA tools that our board and CEO are thrilled with, and have been great ongoing partners as we refine and improve. My only regret is that I didn't hire this team when Dimitry first let me know about EP's fractional CFO services in 2024.
