Sam's List Community: 7 Most Reviewed Finance Pros for Crypto Investors, Q4 2026

Picking a finance pro for crypto work often starts with a firm's own marketing. This list starts with client reviews. Below are the 7 most reviewed finance pros for crypto investors among the 94 firms in the Sam's List community: four accountants, two fractional CFOs and one financial advisor whose profiles list Cryptocurrency Investors as a specialty.

This Q4 2026 edition ranks them by total reviews as of September 30, 2026. Every firm named is a vetted member of the Sam's List directory. A place on the list is free and unaffected by any payment to Sam's List; How we picked, at the end, has the full rules.

Ratings and review counts are as shown on each firm's Sam's List profile on September 30, 2026. Each review is submitted by an individual who identifies as a client of the firm, and reviews reflect those individual experiences; they are not an endorsement by Sam's List. No firm paid to be considered for or included in this list. Ratings and rankings are not indicative of future performance or results.

Sam's List compiled this list; no regulator reviewed or approved it. It ranks advisors only by the number of client reviews on Sam's List as of September 30, 2026, and it says nothing about investment performance. Before hiring an advisor, check their registration and any disciplinary history at adviserinfo.sec.gov or brokercheck.finra.org.

The list

Each entry sticks to what the firm's Sam's List profile showed on September 30, 2026: the specialties it names, its tagline, the state it serves, its rating and review count, and one featured review. Specialties are the firms' own claims, and a review count tells you how many reviews clients wrote, not how good the work is. Open a profile to read its reviews before you book a call.

1. Steady Co

Steady Co is listed as a fractional CFO firm. Its profile names Cryptocurrency Investors, HENRYs (High Earners, Not Rich Yet) and High Net Worth Individuals among its specialties and says it serves Utah. It has a 5.0 rating across 15 reviews, the most on this list.

Neil S. wrote: "It started with just one company and then grew to more as they showed the ability to handle the books, financial questions, and proactive guidance." Its tagline pitches bookkeeping, accounting, tax, payroll and advisory work to small and medium-sized businesses, so an individual investor should ask how much personal crypto work it takes on.

2. Iota Finance

Iota Finance is listed as a fractional CFO firm. Its profile names Cryptocurrency Investors, Digital Nomads and Equity Compensation among its specialties and says it serves Florida. Its tagline offers monthly accounting, tax and fractional CFO services for small businesses, startups and entrepreneurs. It has a 4.8 rating across 14 reviews.

Ankit G. wrote: "Great! They are fast and responsive. They get the work done." The count of 14 tells you how many reviews clients wrote, not how deep the firm's crypto work goes, so ask for examples of clients like you.

3. Alan Potrus

Alan Potrus is listed as a financial advisor, the only one here. The profile names Athletes & Entertainers, Business Executives and Cryptocurrency Investors among its specialties and lists California as the state served. Its tagline describes bookkeeping, payroll, tax and CFO support for service and software businesses. It has a 5.0 rating across 8 reviews.

Jake R. wrote: "This has saved me countless hours in keeping our books up to date in near real time, giving us access to accurate data whenever we need it." That is one client's experience. This list ranks by review count only, not investment performance, so check registration and disciplinary history before hiring.

4. Blackbird Tax Services

Blackbird Tax Services is listed as an accountant. Its profile names Cryptocurrency Investors, Digital Nomads and HENRYs (High Earners, Not Rich Yet) among its specialties and says it serves Massachusetts. It has a 5.0 rating across 8 reviews, a tie with Alan Potrus, broken by name.

Rose D. wrote: "Excellent. I would definitely recommend them. They were knowledgeable and very patient with all of the questions I had. They were also very thorough and I felt immediately that I was in good hands." Eight reviews is a modest sample, and a listed specialty is the firm's own claim, so ask how much crypto work it handles.

Worked with one of these firms?

Reviews are what this list is ranked on, and each one gives the next crypto investor more to go on than a firm's own website. If you have worked with one of these firms, you can leave a review on Sam's List.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should you ask a crypto accountant before hiring one?

Start with fit. Ask how many clients with crypto activity the firm works with now, what records it will need from you, such as exchange and wallet exports, and who will prepare and review your work. Ask how the engagement is priced and what happens if your records have gaps. For a financial advisor, also check registration and any disciplinary history at adviserinfo.sec.gov or brokercheck.finra.org.

What do reviews tell you about an accountant for crypto investors?

They tell you how many reviews clients wrote about a firm on Sam's List and how they rated it. They do not measure technical skill or crypto experience. Of the seven firms here, only Crypto Tax Made Easy has featured quotes that mention crypto by name, so ask each firm about work like yours.

How often is this list updated?

Each quarter. This edition uses ratings and review counts as shown on September 30, 2026. Each refresh uses new counts, so firms can move up or down or drop off, and a firm that adds Cryptocurrency Investors as a specialty can join if it meets the thresholds.

Can firms pay to be included?

No. Listing on Sam's List is free, and so is a place on this list, which is ranked only by reviews. Some firms pay to be featured elsewhere on Sam's List; that has no effect on who appears here or in what order.

How we picked the most reviewed finance pros for crypto investors

The pool. These lists rank only the 94 firms in the Sam's List community, and every firm named is a vetted Sam's List member. Sam's List also lists firms outside the community, which these lists do not rank, so this is not a survey of every firm that works with crypto investors.

Who qualified. A firm needed a profile naming Cryptocurrency Investors as a specialty, a rating of at least 4.0 and at least 2 reviews. A specialty a profile marks as deleted does not count. Nine firms qualified.

The order. Firms are ranked by total reviews, then rating, then name. A list runs 10, 7 or 5 firms and is never padded, so this edition shows the first seven. The seventh place went on rating: an eighth qualifying firm also showed 5 reviews, with a lower rating than Lemoti's 5.0. Ratings and review counts are as each profile showed them on September 30, 2026, and they change. Counts include every review each profile showed on September 30, 2026, whenever it was posted. The Serves column is the state each profile lists; it does not tell you where else a firm takes clients.

What a review count means. It tells you how many reviews clients wrote, not how many clients a firm has. It does not measure technical quality, crypto expertise or fit, and it says nothing about investment performance. A firm with 5 reviews is not automatically worse than one with 15, and specialties are the firms' own claims, so confirm credentials and fit yourself.

Payment. Listing on Sam's List is free, and so is a place on this list. Crypto Tax Made Easy and Iota Finance also pay to be featured elsewhere on Sam's List; that has no bearing on this list. For more on reviews, read the Sam's List reviews disclosure.
