Ratings and review counts are as shown on each firm's Sam's List profile on October 8, 2026. Each review is submitted by an individual who identifies as a client of the firm, and reviews reflect those individual experiences; they are not an endorsement by Sam's List. No firm paid to be considered for or included in this list. Ratings and rankings are not indicative of future performance or results.

Sam's List compiled this list; no regulator reviewed or approved it. It ranks advisors only by the number of client reviews on Sam's List as of October 8, 2026, and it says nothing about investment performance. Before hiring an advisor, check their registration and any disciplinary history at adviserinfo.sec.gov or brokercheck.finra.org.

The list: finance pros for high net worth clients, ranked by reviews

Each entry sticks to what the firm's Sam's List profile showed on October 8, 2026: the specialties it names, its tagline, the state it serves, its rating and review count, and in most cases one featured review. Specialties are the firms' own claims, and a review count tells you how many reviews clients wrote, not how good the work is. Open a profile to read its reviews before you book a call.

Reviews are what this list is ranked on, and each one gives the next client with a complicated balance sheet more to go on than a firm's own website. If you have worked with one of these firms, you can leave a review on Sam's List.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should you ask an accountant for high net worth individuals before hiring?

Start with fit. Ask how many clients with your mix of income and assets the firm works with now, who prepares and who reviews your return, and how it coordinates with your other advisors. Ask how the engagement is priced and what it needs from you each quarter. A listed specialty is the firm's own claim, so ask for examples of work like yours.

What do reviews tell you about a financial advisor for high net worth individuals?

They tell you how many reviews clients wrote about an advisor on Sam's List and how they rated it. They say nothing about investment performance, fees or fit. Before hiring an advisor, check registration and any disciplinary history at adviserinfo.sec.gov or brokercheck.finra.org.

How often is this list updated?

Each quarter. This edition uses ratings and review counts as shown on October 8, 2026. Each refresh uses new counts, so firms can move up or down or drop off, and a firm that adds High Net Worth Individuals as a specialty can join if it meets the thresholds.

Can firms pay to be included?

No. Listing on Sam's List is free, and so is a place on this list, which is ranked only by reviews. Some firms pay to be featured elsewhere on Sam's List; that has no effect on who appears here or in what order.

How we picked the most reviewed finance pros for high net worth clients

The pool. These lists rank only the 94 firms in the Sam's List community, and every firm named is a vetted Sam's List member. Sam's List also lists firms outside the community, which these lists do not rank, so this is not a survey of every firm that works with high net worth clients.

Who qualified. A firm needed a profile naming High Net Worth Individuals as a specialty, a rating of at least 4.0 and at least 2 reviews. Eleven firms qualified.

The order. Firms are ranked by total reviews, then rating, then name. A list runs 10, 7 or 5 firms and is never padded, so this edition shows the first ten. A tie decided the last places: three firms showed 2 reviews, and rating decided which two made the list. Ratings and review counts are as each profile showed them on October 8, 2026, and they change. Counts include every review each profile showed on October 8, 2026, whenever it was posted. The Serves column is the state each profile lists; it does not tell you where else a firm takes clients.

What a review count means. It tells you how many reviews clients wrote, not how many clients a firm has. It does not measure technical quality or fit, and it says nothing about investment performance. A firm with 5 reviews is not automatically worse than one with 33, and specialties are the firms' own claims, so confirm credentials and fit yourself.

Payment. Listing on Sam's List is free, and so is a place on this list. Crypto Tax Made Easy also pays to be featured elsewhere on Sam's List; that has no bearing on this list. For more on reviews, read the Sam's List reviews disclosure.
